Ingrid Abrash, a compassionate healer of animals, offers the Los Angeles community her expertise in massage therapy through her business, Nicker and Bark, LLC. Prior to launching this venture, Ingrid Abrash studied liberal arts at Sarah Lawrence College, earning her Bachelor of Arts in 1993. Ingrid Abrash followed a path into the legal field as a student at The George Washington University Law School, where she completed her Juris Doctor in 2000. As a law student, Ingrid Abrash applied her legal expertise to the cause of ecology with the publication of two pieces in The Environmental Lawyer.

In 2000, Ingrid Abrash took a job with the branch of the U.S. Government now known as U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), which is under the purview of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). In her role as Senior Attorney, Ingrid Abrash represents ICE and DHS in immigration cases.

At Nicker and Bark, LLC, Ingrid Abrash offers both equine and canine sports massages, having received her credentials from Equissage, an instructional organization approved by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork. A member of the International Association of Animal Massage Therapists (IAAMT), Ingrid Abrash conducts professional massage sessions with dogs and horses that are designed to increase circulation, thereby relieving the animals of problems with soreness, pain, arthritis, and spasms. In addition to offering therapeutic relief, Ingrid Abrash uses massages to detect muscle tension, which can point toward sources of health problems.

For horses, Ingrid Abrash charges $85 for a session, which usually lasts over an hour and requires either the owner or the therapist to exercise the animal afterwards. Sessions with dogs cost $75, with the duration depending on the temperament of the canine. Ingrid Abrash also serves rescue animal organizations by offering reduced rates to animals in their care.
